| The
camera boat is a Nautica 25 foot Widebody, a high speed,
ocean capable, RIB (rigid inflatable boat). It's like those
used by the U.S. Coast Guard and Military because of their
stability and safety. With twin Yamaha 225hp fuel injected
two stroke outboards and fiberglass central hull based on
a racing design, speeds of 60mph are attainable.
With
the exception of very rough seas, the main deck stays very
dry. There are inch and a half “speed rail”
mounts and railings throughout the boat for camera mounting,
seating, and any number of stabilization systems, along
with a “tuna tower” perch above the center console.
There is space on the main deck for jimmy jibs and booms,
and dry storage. Because it is trailerable, the camera boat
can be on location anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. |
The
camera boat is also available for private charter, water
taxi, photo expeditions and swimming & marine events. |
